01. Is Multi-Streaming the Future?

On June 2, top-tier streamer Asmongold officially joined the Kick platform. With around 3.6 million followers on Twitch and 3.7 million subscribers on YouTube, he drew 77,000 followers on Kick within hours of going live for the first time.

So, what does this mean for Twitch? In his announcement, Asmongold shared his thoughts on joining Kick—and on why multi-streaming is the way forward:

"The reason why I am doing it, is that I think that, there are a lot of reasons, but one of the reasons is that I think multistreaming is the future, and I think that fixating on one platform and forcing people to be exclusive on one platform is reductive for content creators."

And he's not alone. A growing number of creators are embracing multi-streaming. Twitch officially allowed it starting in 2023, and Kick followed suit on February 6, 2025, opening the door to broader audience reach. The streaming landscape is shifting fast.
